Scenic Highway 30A is a long, slow road of small beach communities, each with its own feel. Santa Rosa Beach and Dune Allen at the west end are full of rental houses tucked among the coastal dune lakes. Grayton Beach is old Florida and sandy lanes. WaterColor and Seaside are walkable towns with town centers and front porches. Seagrove has beach houses under the oaks. Alys Beach is all white walls and courtyards. Rosemary Beach and Inlet Beach anchor the east end near Panama City Beach.

Finding your rental on 30A

• Use the house name and full address. Many 30A cottages have names on the sign rather than easy-to-see numbers, and side streets can be dark.
• Tell us about parking. In Seaside, Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, homes often front a footpath or a narrow lane, with parking in a rear alley or a shared lot. Tell your sitter where to leave her car and which way to walk in.
• Gated neighborhoods. WaterSound, parts of WaterColor and some private communities have gates or guard houses. Give the gate your sitter's first name and arrival time.
• Carriage houses. If your family is split between a main house and a carriage house, tell us which building the kids are sleeping in.

Weddings on 30A

30A is one of the busiest wedding destinations on the Gulf Coast, with ceremonies on the beach, at town chapels and greens, and in private homes from Grayton to Rosemary. Out-of-town guests with kids often stay a few streets from the venue. A sitter at your rental lets the kids keep their bedtime while you enjoy the reception.

Evenings out on 30A

With a sitter at the house, parents can bike to dinner in Seaside, walk the town center in Rosemary Beach, catch sunset at the Grayton Beach State Park beach, or try one of the restaurants overlooking the Gulf in WaterColor and Alys Beach. Many 30A families book the same sitter two or three nights of the week so the adults get several real dinners on one trip.

Booking a 30A sitter

30A is a longer drive for our sitters than Destin or Fort Walton Beach, so reaching out early matters more here. Give us your dates, the times you need, the address and house name, and your kids' ages. Your Angel matches a sitter and confirms everything before your date, including the rate and any travel fee (it starts once the drive is over 25 miles).
