Shalimar is a small town on the Eglin Parkway between Fort Walton Beach and Niceville, wrapped around Garnier Bayou, Poquito Bayou and Choctawhatchee Bay. It's where Emerald Coast Angel Care is based, and where many of our neighbors work at Eglin, commute to Hurlburt, or run small businesses of their own. Just south is Cinco Bayou, one of the smallest towns in Okaloosa County, and nearby Longwood and the Shalimar Pointe area are full of family homes.

We're a service-area business, so there's no office to visit: our sitters come to you. Being based here means the drive to most Shalimar, Cinco Bayou and Longwood homes is a short one.

Shalimar sits right between Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field, with Duke Field to the north. That makes it a natural home for military families, and many of the parents who call us are stationed at one of the three or are married to someone who is. If you're new to the area, we can help from the first week: a sitter at your temporary lodging while you house-hunt, or at your new home while the movers unload.

We sit on base too. If you live in on-base housing, tell your Angel when you book. We handle the base visitor pass for your sitter where one is needed.
